LilithThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre -Atari 2600-

Texas Chainsaw Massacre on the Atari 2600

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was also released in 1983 for the
classic gaming console the Atari 2600. Again, Wizard Video Games
is again responsible for this rare classic gem. This game is even more
hard to find then the Halloween game, also for Atari 2600. Some stores
refused to sell the game and others kept it behind the counter. If you wanted
to buy it, you had to ask for it. There were many protests when the game
was released. Some people claimed it was promoting violence! I had to
giggle at this to, because when you see the game in action, you say to
yourself..."this is violent?". lol. People back then would shit themselves
if they saw todays games being sold then. Also, another little piece
of info about horror movies being turned into video games for the Atari
2600 is the unreleased video game The Entity! 20th Century Fox also
planned to release a video game based on the disturbing horror movie
The Entity. But sadly 20th Century Fox did not go thru with releasing
the video game. Its unclear why, but people speculate about it. Its said
the game didnt seem to be very accurate with the movie its self, so who
knows what happened. I say release these games for the more modern
gaming consoles. Redo them and do them some justice!!!!

I liked this game a lot. Especially since it was pretty violent for video games back then.
