Theres a new Nightmare on Elm Street Box set fixing to hit stores. But by the sounds of it, its not worth having. Also Robert Englund is not on the cover! The NEW Freddy is! WTF? This is a small paragraph from the net i found about it...

Clearly an attempt to capitalize on what everyone is hoping will be a successful remake, one just has to wonder if New Line is going too far. I agree, Robert Englund should be the ONLY Freddy on that or any other NOES Box Set. I would buy the old Box Set before i bought this crap.

I totally agree, Robert should be on the cover of HIS movies. This new razor gloved wannabe isnt in ANY of these movies. Probably hasnt even seen all of them either. He should not be on the cover. And if it is for promotional purposes, thats just shitty in my opinion. Its like a huge fuck you to Robert and his fans. But im old school, and thats how i feel about it. I wont buy the new box set. Actually, im fixing to buy the old Box Set. Its WAY better and has shit loads of extras. And it has the REAL Freddy on it! Well ive found this info on more then one site about the new freddy on the cover of this box set. Its already a done deal, the box set comes out the first week of April i do believe. The 6th, i thought.

I've heard about this; a few points to make
1) Using JEH as somew kinda "hip" marketing gag is stupid
2) The only thing truly new about this set is replacing the bonus-disk CHOCK FULL OF EXTRAS with Freddy vs. Jason X(
3) The old set can now be found for less than $20
