mrblueParanormal Activity 2 teaser too scary for theaters
#1
Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity is regarded as one of the scariest films of all time, now the teaser trailer for the sequel is already being removed from theaters across the country after freaking out parents, and their kids. Reports have flooded in that the teaser has already been pulled from theaters in Plano, TX and Harker Heights after various complaints from parents who took their teens to the midnight showings of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last night.

:reddisgust: The typical marketing has already begun. The original was no where near being one of the scariest movies of all time. That being said, I expect a lot less out of this one.

Depending on the genuine-ness of said reactions, I don't know whether to hysterically laugh or cry bullshit!
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

The trailer's not to scary for theaters: it's just too scary for Twi-hards. Good thing they didn't have a Wizard of Oz trailer. The flying monkeys would have had them crapping themselves. Laughing-satan

That's the explanation that would have had me hysterically laughing; the other (hype machine explanation) would have me crying bullshit :p

If paramount is already premoting PA2 then lionsgate should be doing the same with Saw VII if they want to beat them in the box office.

Yeah, for Twi-hards if you show them Charlie and Chocolate Factor they'll cry because it's too colorful and strange.

No no no no no, my friend. Most Twi-hards are most likely emo girls and they have to see anything that involves Tim Burton, or Johnny Depp. Not to mention, they claim weird movies as their favorites. Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Care Bears, Where The Wild Things Are, shit like that.

They'll get heart attacks if they stumble their eyes on that trailer.
