I'd rather a ripoff than a true remake honestly, and that is one thing I respect "Roommate" for

Remake? Shameless rip-off? Either way, I had a thought today when I saw a preview for The Roomate for "on demand" today...
I thought, "Wouldn't it be AWESOME if she won in this version?" I think that is what would make this movie acceptable. The crazy bitch needs to win! Someone should make THAT movie!

Actually, you know what would make the movie acceptable? If they didn't make it. That's a thought, right? Just don't make it and things would be alright.

This film was a bit of a waste of time. It was that much of a copy-cat Single White Female if you'd told me it was a remake I'd have accepted it. All the major plot points were exhaustively copied. Just left me wishing I'd watched Jennifer Jason Leigh again instead.
