I don't keep up with football, what happened?
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

The players are suing the league in federal court under the Sherman antitrust act.
But the way I figure it is: 1) This is an opportunity for the league to say, "fuck it," cut ticket prices in half while cutting salaries for players in half, and bringing in all new talent—since the league has gone to shit anyway. And 2) If the players really think that the league is a monopoly, combined they have enough damn money to start their own damn league, so really, if that was what was important to them—which I'm not convinced it is—they could play for themselves instead.
But really, it's just greedy bullshit. Not that that will stop the fans from worshipping these assholes and paying inflated ticket prices to sell the games out, and buying all their stupid gear, and forcing their kids to play Pop Warner and get concussions while making them feel like they're less than men if they'd rather do something creative with their heads instead of ramming them into another boy's gut.
*clears throat... blushes* Ummm... yeah.

'Dega has nothing on Daytona or the Indy Motor Speedway.

the Daytona 500 is the one i'm going to, in July. my dad said i can go to any race except the one in Talladega bc my parents hate Alabama, so i chose the race in Daytona.
only thing that sucks, i'll be flying during the 4th of July weekend so i'll probably get trampled at the airport. 'cause the race is July 2 and i;ll be leaving June 30 oe 29th. so i go to the Nationwide race, too.

Is your dad going with you? You shouldn't be traveling alone especially to a race.

Yeah my dad wants to go bc he likes racing, too. But I wanna go alone, I see nothing wrong with it. Its just a race. Ya know, cars n shit. Race fans aren't hostile like football and hockey fans.

Traveling alone is never a good idea. Especially if you've never done it.

What does that mean, 'this isn't a movie.' Of course it's not. It's real life. In real life traveling alone, in another state, without anybody you know is dangerous. If something happens like an accident nobody will be there to help you out. If you want to go alone, fine, tempt fate.

Lol you always do this. My parents see no problem with me going alone. Its only for a few days. Plus NASCAR weekend is a huge event. Big crowds. Big fun. I'm old enough to travel to another state alone. I'm 21, not 12.
