The Digital Bits is reporting that Universal will release a 30th anniversary edition of Halloween II - directed by Rick Rosenthal, on September 13th.

Extras include the alternate ending and Terror in the Aisles.

Terror in the Aisles debuted in 1984 featuring Donald Pleasance and Nancy Allen. It is a compilation of horror movie moments and trailers. It has never been available on DVD.

Very cool to see Halloween 2 finally getting a respectful treatment. I truly hope it surprises us and has all the scenes from the TV version restored as well.

Not to mention, I'm really enjoying the cover of that DVD. I only wished the cover was the same for non Blu-ray titles.
