Horror RP?

Hey fellas, a while ago there was a forum-RP based on all the icons of horror we like so much. However I do believe that one fizzled quite a while ago, and if memory serves, turned into some erotic mumbo-jumbo before dying.

Now, I was wondering if anyone around this forum would want our own horror-RP to make things more lively around here. I'd imagine something concerning those horror villains/heroes who have had their story-arcs fade away with either no conclusion or one that leaves things open (Though new guys would not necessarily be counted out, it would be harder with expected sequels that could change things), in a plot that left open in previous installments (I've thought of something concerning the books in Argento's 3 Mothers trilogy).

What does everyone else think? Would you be interested and if so what sort of things would you want to include?

I'd definitely be interested. I'd like to participate in a slasher one, until I got the hang of things.

It could be done, as long as it could either be made short, or be a real badass slasher that involves the whole town (I wouldn't be that interested in playing an even-more disposable teen for months X) )

Ach, though I haven't exactly had such a thing happen to me, I do feel your pain.

I should say though, forum RPs are generally more story-oriented/less-technical than traditional RPs, I'm not familiar with too much of the technical stuff myself.

@Rosemary: Well most of the forum RPs I've been on have been as simple as semi-moderated round robin stories. The most complicated had incorporated a stats system where you start off with HP and various things do different amounts of damage... If it's gonna be a slasher thing, it could be a bit detrimental/complicated though, considering most attacks traditionally either "kill" or "don't kill"

I believe what more specifically happened was the owners made an entire special branch to the thing, which ended up spreading to the main one >.> . I would hope we would have more sense.

So what does everyone think of the whole slasher idea, any ideas?
