Dr. Briggs"The complete series"
#1
Wondering whether to put this here or in the DVD features section...

Does anyone here (Well I'm sure at least someone does!) own a horror film and all its sequels? I believe I may be the newbie here, as all I have (As far as "trilogy or above"-wise) is the Nightmare on Elm Street collection (+ Freddy vs. Jason), all 4 Pumpkinhead movies, and all the Puppet Master films except for "The Legacy" which has a minimal plot, and "Vs. Demonic Toys" which is a crossover.

Aside from part 4, I own all the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre films, and plan to get the Basket Case sequels soon (I have part 3 ordered). I have all 3 Psycho sequels in a pack, though I lack the original. In the near future I'm looking at the entire "Howling" series, since not many others brag about posessing it. X)

Wanting to get Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy soon, and maybe the first half of the Friday the 13th series for Christmas.

The only reason I'm not is because my folks don't have like 500 bucks to go towards Christmas (That's not just Friday the 13, but all the other stuff I want too XD)

Buying the Nightmares in the 4-packs or one-by one? I'd personally recommend the available box-set, not only does it contain the 1st 7 films (for less than $20.00 on Amazon.com sometimes!), but also a fair to middling selection of bonus materials!

Come to think of it, other than Romero's Dead Series, I'm not sure if I own all of any other series... I, of course, own random copys of other series, and all of the Unsolved Mysteries Collections. I haven't fallen "In love" with any series other than Coffin Joe and it's not easy to find any of them.

I have the Evil Dead Series, F13 1-5, all of the Halloweens (even the crappy one *cough* Resurrection *cough*), Saw 1-6, The Omen 1-4 + the remake (not sure why, I think it came in a box set), and that's all I can remember right now.

I own every single Nightmare on Elm Street DVD, even the pseudo documentary about it and Never Sleep Again. However, I do not own Freddy vs. Jason and I refuse to do so.

I picked up the original at target and the rest of the sequals at Suncoast. You can easily find the remmake and prequal at best buy.

And what's with the hate on FVJ Fred?
