I finally had a chance to watch this subtle, brooding vampire story. A nice study in contrast from the more brutal and fast paced Martyrs; LTROI moves deliberately, quietly, toward its more predictable conclusion. But predictability is a part of this story, and as we move closer to its vengeful conclusion, we are asked to withhold judgement and find a place of compassion. I liked it, but I am not quite sure yet how much.

I hear a lot of good things about this one, but my biggest question that most people seem to gloss over is: "Is it actually scary?"
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

No, its not scary at all. More of a character study/love story.

I've heard of this.
I think I'll look deeper into. Just to see what I think.

Any girl's that liked Twilight (which I HATED) would do well to watch this story. I think I may have liked it better if the kids were a little older. I'm a little disturbed by the ending. Also, the movie left some things out that are supposed to be in the book, like the scar. (If you've seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about.) I have the book, but have not started it yet. Okay movie. Not really horror.

Hellz yeah! Like it? Kinda my new thing. Think I'll start doing 1 to 10 headshots for a little more accuracy!

Wonderful, wonderful movie. Haunting, sad . . . it's one of my favorites from the last few years, definitely. Not only one of my favorite foreign movies -- one of my favorite movies *period*.
