What's everyone around here listening to ?
I'm mostly into psychobilly, but I do like other stuff. If I had to make a list it'd probably be Demented Are Go (who'd have known), The Meteors, Gutter Demons, Nekromantix, The Stray Cats, The Misfits, Rammstein, The Murderdolls, Social Distortion, Balzac, Banlieue Rouge, Berurier Noir, Danzig, Batmobile, The klingonz, the Koffin Kats, the Coffin Nails, Hot Rod Hullabaloo, Brian Setzer.
I'm hoping I'll get to see the Misfits next time to play in Detroit in August, I only got to see them once, back in Montreal and it was an awful show, they had the singer from some cover band who kept screwing up lyrics. He even messed up Last Caress.
My husband's been getting me into Cannibal Corpse, usually not my cup of tea, but I do like their last album.

I've been listening to a lot more lately, probably due to the fact I finally discovered the wow addon epic music player. My playlists have been ranging from punk to psychobilly to the beatles.
I never could get into Rush, I don't know why. I remember one of Queensryche's videos I'm trying to remember the song title, but it was a good song, that must have been back in 94-95. I haven't really watched music video channels since then.

I tend to listen to the same cds over and over while driving. Right now we have a 6 cd changer in the car, my husband "owns" the first 3 and i get the other 3, I have nekromantix - return of the loving dead (that cd never leaves my car) Hot Rod Hullabaloo (rockabilly band from saskatoon, they rock) and The horrorpops - Bring it on.
I think I'd die without music. I have songs for everything lol. When I want to get in the mood to party it's holiday in cambodia by the dead kennedys. When I want to annoy my husband it's pervy in the park by demented are go (it always gets stuck in his head). When it's really nice out and I'm just driving around it's rock this town by the stray cats and texas rockabilly rebel by rev horton heat. Oddly enough, if i get a little too drunk, it'll generally be metallica master of puppets.
I think I love rockaiblly and psychobilly so much because it's got a lot of elements from 50's rock'n'roll. If I'm feeling down, I'll be blasting Otis Redding or Alton Ellis.

Apparently it depends on the show, my husband saw them in detroit (which is their favorite town to play) and they rocked, I saw them in Montreal and they were horrible.
My husband hates world of warcraft, i laughed so hard when we watched the dvd that came with the last cannibal corpse cd. The singer plays and kept talking about it.
My favorite misfits song would be astro zombies.
I need to get rose tints my world from the rocky horror out of my head, it's been stuck in my head since I watched it the other night.
I had a pretty cool thing happen to me a couple of years back. Hot Rod Hullabaloo had a song on Zombie Night In Canada, I totally loved it, then I found out they did have an album, so I went to HMV and tried to order it, it took 6 months, the guy ended up having to call up another HMV in i think Toronto or Vancouver that had one copy of it and having it sent to Montreal, a week after I finally got the album, someone broke into my car while I was at work and stole all my cds and my car stereo, I was pissed. I emailed the band to see if I could buy it through them, explained how I waited 6 months for it, only to have it stolen a week later, one of the guys emailed me back, he ended up sending me the album, and a sticker, for free. I was amazed by how nice he was.

Yeah it kinda does depending on which version you're listening to. My cell's ring tone is dig up her bones. Another personal favorite is die die die my darling and mommy can i go out and kill tonight?
I still remember one day trying to get my mom into Danzig, it didn't quite work, she loved the beginning of the devil's plaything, didn't quite like the song after it kicked in lol. She by the Misfits was the first song my hubby played for me on bass, followed by Twist of Cain, so they're both kinda special to me.
Have you listened to Balzac yet loki? You might also like wednesday 13 and the murderdolls. Dawn of the Dead by the murderdolls is one of my favorite songs ever.
When there's no more room in hell, then the dead will walk the earth and the living won't have a prayer, 'cause it's the dawn of the dead.

I listen to whatever motivates me or gives me an escape at the time....currently it's Shiny Toy Guns, but before that, it was the Symphony Hall music channel on Direct TV. Funny huh?

I guess I'm a music snob. I like a lot of songs by a lot of different bands, but I can't name a band that I like all of their stuff. Which really sucks. I have to have a playlist rather than a c.d. Oh well. Thank whoever for i-pods.

I listen to alot of hard rock, metal, etc. But I also listen to electronic type stuff, and 80's pop. Then when I'm trying to write and can't keep my concentration, I'll listen to some film scores. Like some John Williams shit.
