:riiip: R.I.P MJ! 1967–2009 For anyone who don't know how he died... He died from a massive heart attack.... He was only 50 years old. I know ALOT of people didn't like this man because of what they thought they knew but I liked him, and I don't believe he did what people say he did. It's truly sad that alot of our stars who are humans just like us keeping dying... Sadly the way people treated MJ caught up with him in the end. :reddisgust:

He actually died from cardiac arrest, totally different thing then a heart attack.
Drug overdose. Or he faked his death. He WAS half a billion dollars in debt.
But all in all, I have mixed feelings over his death. Though not my type of music, he was the most famous person in the world, and when I was a kid I liked his music (When it was new.DAMN I'm gettin' old!). But the thing about the kids. I would slaughter someone near me for doing that. Then again, maybe we didn't have all the facts, and maybe he didn't even do anything wrong. Who knows? Whatever. Rest in Peace Micheal. As Briggsy said, he did make Thriller.
Guys, I have some more news... He had over 100 unreleased songs, that he saved for his children incase of his death. He saved those songs so they could be released to pay for his children. Poor, poor MJ! Good man! I know it!
Wow. Really? That's kinda cool. Well, then again, he was about to go on his comeback tour, so maybe a lot of them were for that. Anyways, he must have loved his kids, and I don't mean that as a joke.
Well money wise his kids will have no problems at all for the rest of their lives. He might have owed people $400 million but his assets alone will easily triple that. Thats one thing people dont understand, owing money and being in debt are two different things. Not only did Michael own the publishing and writing for all of his music, which included 13 number one songs, the rights to the greatest music video of all time(Thriller) and he owned the rights and publishing to the 100 unreleased songs(as Friday mentioned), he also owned the entire catalog for the most famous and best selling band of all time, The Beatles. His kids just went into the pages of Forbes Magazine.
When I first read about it, I couldn't believe it. The whole thing's made me very very sad. Thriller was the first vinyl I ever owned. I loved Michael Jackson when I was young. I never believed he could do what he was accused of, I never felt that he was capable of that.
When you look at his life, it's sad, I don't think he could remember not being famous. I can't imagine living his life. I read this morning that they're waiting for the toxicology report to actually call the cause of death. If you go over to myspace and look up lisa marie presley, she wrote a very sad, but interesting, blog entry about him. Apparently while they were married, they had a conversation about her father's death, where he told her that he thought he was going to go the same way her father did.
I feel for his family and his children right now, he always seemed to do his best to protect his children and let them have the childhood he didn't have. It's a big loss for the music industry, I hope he's finally at peace.

I agree. And yea you could tell he did love his children!
I mean come on he covered them from the spotlight so they could have the life he never had! He also gave them everything. Oh and he did pay thousands to their mother so he could keep them fully and so that the mother would want no rights to them.

Wait, I didn't say that. I said he would jump out of his coffin and dance the Thriller
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ
I feel bad for the kids, they're probably going to end up in the middle of a nasty custody battle. The mother of two of them never actually did give up her rights. A judge had agreed to it, then another reversed the decision, I would not be surprised if she decides to seek custody, that'd mean a whole lot of money for her. The kids apparently want to stay with their grandmother, they don't really know their birth mother.
I really hope the birth mother won't let greed get to her head, I really hate to see children suffer.

I agree. To be honest Micheal never wanted her in their lives, so I think they should go to his mother.

True, he even paid the mom 'millions' to stay out of their lives, in which she eagerly took the money over the kids. So basically the grandmother has more rights to them then her IMO.
I was reading yesterday that they found Propofol in his house. This could very well have caused his death. They're now saying that whoever prescribed that to him may end up being charged with manslaughter. I hope so. That drug should never be prescribed for home use, I remember the first day, when it all went down, they were talking about finding lidocaine. Well here's a quote from the wiki article about Propofol :
Side effects
Aside from the hypotension (mainly through vasodilatation) and transient apnea following induction doses, one of propofol's most frequent side effects is pain on injection, especially in smaller veins. This pain can be mitigated by pretreatment with lidocaine.[15]
I'm hoping they're wrong, that there's another explanation, but at the same time, I doubt there is. While I'm far from being an advocate for restraining access to drugs, I think they do need to do something about celebrities, it's far too easy for them to get multiple prescriptions under a bunch of different names.
I'm sick of reading about how MJ is or is not the biological father of his children, who cares, isn't the real father the one who sticks around and is there for his children? As far as I'm concerned, he is the father, period.
There's so much speculation in this case and there's a bunch of people in the media who will say anything to get hits on their website, regardless of how disrespectful it is. Sometimes I miss the days where written press, tv and radio were the main ways to get information, it's a whole lot easier to write trash on the web than it is to get it in prints.
