From his first feature film The Last House On The Left as writer, director and editor in 1972, Craven made his mark as a genre-bending, bracingly innovative horror director with a biting sense of humor. Craven also consistently demonstrated that he was a filmmaker with heart.

Craven reinvented the youth horror genre again in 1984 with the classic and very scary A Nightmare on Elm Street, which also introduced a then-unknown Johnny Depp. The movie spawned several sequels, most of them directed and written by others.

In 1996 Craven experienced a rebirth in horror with the release of Scream, which was written by Kevin Williamson. Scream sparked multiple sequels and spoofs.

One of the last projects Craven worked on was MTV’s series adaptation of Scream, on which he served as executive producer. The series was recently renewed for a second season. “Wes Craven was a tremendous visionary whose sensibility for scares has connected with generations of MTV fans,” MTV said in a statement. “We are honored to have worked with him and proud to carry on his legacy with Scream. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.”

Craven took a breather from horror between Scream 2 and Scream 3, when he seized an opportunity to direct a non-genre film for Miramax, Music of the Heart (1999), which earned star Meryl Streep an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. That same year he completed his first novel, The Fountain Society published by Simon & Shuster.

Craven continued to stretched his creative boundaries with the 2005 thriller Red Eye, starring Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy and Brian Cox. The following year he switched gears to write and direct a romantic comedy homage to Oscar Wilde featuring Emily Mortimer and Rufus Sewell as a segment in the popular French ensemble anthology Paris Je T’aime.

He then returned to horror as producer of remakes of two of his earlier films, The Hills Have Eyes (2006) and The Last House on the Left (2009). Craven’s most recent written and directed film, My Soul To Take (2010), once again brought together a cast of up-and-coming actors. It also marked Craven’s first collaboration with wife and producer Iya Labunka, who also produced Scream 4, which reunited Craven with screenwriter Williamson, as well as with stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, joined by newcomers Emma Roberts and Hayden Pannetierre.

Remaining creatively engaged and active until his death, Craven had signed an overall TV deal with Universal Cable Productions. He had a number of projects in development including The People Under the Stairs and We Are All Completely Fine with Syfy, Disciples with UCP, and Sleepers with Federation Entertainment.

Craven also recently wrote and was scheduled to direct “Thou Shalt Not Kill” segment for The Weinstein Company/WGN’s Ten Commandments miniseries. Additionally he was working on a graphic novel series based on his original idea “Coming of Rage” for Liquid Comics in collaboration with Steve Niles.

He also served as an executive producer of the upcoming feature The Girl in the Photographs which will premiere next month the 2015 Toronto Film Festival.

For inspiration and examples of what terror two sentences can illustrate, check these out. I'm gonna apologize in advance for the weak start, but attempt at an excuse: this was based on a random thought I got, from a random article I stumbled upon tonight. I'd never really given much thought to trying to write one before.

When asked about the incident two years later, Justin claimed it kind of crept him out to hear, but reporters seemed to agree that the fan's disappearance held no significance to him. That was until the assistant lighting director found 10 tiny oak boxes, 1 of 10 crumbling digits in each individual one, and a lock-box on the shelf above, inside which was just enough space to hide a jawbone.]]>

Well he's a lot of opposition,it's straightforward too comprehend he's asking the wealthy folks too pay their fair slice of the taxes...and gosh darn it rich persons are upset about that,businesses went left the country many moons before Obama was president,so do not blame him for unemployment.Obama doesn't have hiring control over every business ; place the blame where it belongs! If companies didnt go over seas their would be more roles and their would be less folks on unemployment,food stamps,public asst ! Place the accusation where it's due ......he declared no more bailouts,ok we received that one covered,FOUR trillion towards national debt,that's a start..it's going to take more than 1 term in office for him too undo the Bushs who should be recieving the blame...it would be good if the govt would block the oil corporations from upping their prices,that would help, they have enough money;their just blinded by the greed]]>

When Martha Kempf and her family moved into their home ten years ago, it already had a home alarm system installed. After a couple of her neighbors' houses that didn't have alarm systems installed were damaged into, she counted her blessings.

According to one study, houses without alarms systems are three times more probable to be broken into than those without.

Tom Cook of TC Security has lots of his corporation's signs all though Michiana and he has installed thousands of protection systems in homes and businesses.

One reason many individuals wait is cost.

Security systems range anywhere from about $200 for a leased system to $400-$500 for purchasing a basic system. Highly sophisticated systems can get up to $1,500 to $3,000.

Additionally, monthly monitoring fees can begin at about $20 a month.

While the initial costs could appear like a lot for a home protection system, in the months and future years, it may essentially end up saving you money.

Home security has developed. You won't need a traditional phone line in your house.

You do not need a telephone line or a land line any more. There are many different options. We will be able to connect up to the Net, we have cellular technology, and also 2 way radio communicationswe have apps and everything that would indicate when your alarm is going off. You can connect that with camcorders, like a latchkey situation for your child when they return home from school. There is a video clip when they come in. There's also alarm notification, texting and email that we can tell folk when their alarm is turned on.
