Well guys, I didn't win the contest.
Something crappy happened as well: my act included a short film I made, and I worked really hard on it.
Turns out that the production didn't air the video on the screens in front, so when I heard my song, I had no idea the video wasn't showing. I feel like they screwed me over, kinda, by taking away my main prop. Total bummer.

Yeah, it does. And I received no explanation or apology for it. I'm not blaming anyone in particular for it, but all I heard was that 'maybe they didn't know', which is not an applicable explanation.
Why?
Because, it said "VIDEO" on the DVD itself, and the song would not have played unless the video played.
I'm pretty pissed, but there's nothing I can do about it now except plan for next year's competition.
