Trick r Treat was a pretty good movie. havnt seen Dead Snow or Let the Right One In tho.

I like your pic MrBlue! I loved the little pumpkin head kid in Trick r Treat! Dead Snow is an independant Nazi Zombie flick by the same folks that did Kill Buljo, and LTROI is a independant Vampire movie....the real kind of Vampire, they don't sparkle and they actually kill people :-)

Me, I',m more 4 slasher...I like special effects done right, according to the newest technologies in other words so...basically I have a thing 4 both slasher and remakes...and if u mix the 2, well it is very unlikely I won't like it

I love slasher films too! I just have a general love of all horror, the older stuff is what leads the way to develping new tecniques. I know my favorites are always changing, what are your current favorites?

Well as someone who has been watching horror since I was four :-) welcome to horror, please enjoy! lol. I like those too, and own them all. Nope not Italian, I live in Victoria B.C. Canada, and I'm actually first nations (native) and danish. What made you discover horror? What was your very first scary movie?

Well, @ first I just hadn't really thought about it...here in Italy they translate the titles in some wired way so...u're not really tempted 2 go c the movie("The Texas chainsaw massacre" is "Don't open that door", "The haunting in Connecticut" is "The messenger" and so on...). However I do watch everything that's on TV in English and after hearing many many references 2 one classic slasher "I know what you did last summer", I thought, let's give it a try...of course, that's not scary, not by a long shot, especially if compared 2 other movies...however, it was from where I started and since then I have been trying 2 get my hands on as many horrors as possible. I found out that I really love slashers and that I don't like 2 much gore(as in "Saw" or "Hostel"), I love the supernatural also(being a fan of the show as well) and so far "The Texas chainsaw massacre" (2003) is what has creeped me out the most, mainly coz of the scenary, the evil family...that stuff....

Hmm yeah I guess I never thought what titles would be translated to, makes sense. Glad you came on over to the darker side lol, its fun :-) I'm a fan of gore, I like to try and replicate what I see for work, and I find gore to be a fun challenge.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome, nice to be around folks that have similar interests!
