A Toys 'R Us located in Sunnyvale, California was the scene of inexplicable events such as items falling off shelves, strange feelings by employees, cold spots and other strange paranormal happenings. The story made it's way to a television show called "That's Incredible" hosted by Fran Tarkenton, Kathy Lee Crosby and John Davidson. They contacted a local California psychic, Sylvia Brown and professional photographers to document a séance in the store. Using both infrared and high-speed film, a photographer from Alpha Labs took simultaneous pictures of the empty isle where Brown was attempting to contact the presence of Johnny Johnston, a young boy in love with a local girl. He bled to death after a farm accident and it's thought that his ghost now haunts the store's location. One infrared shot taken clearly shows a young man leaning against a counter with his hands in his pockets. It did not show up on the high-speed film taken at precisely the same instant!

I am a believer that spirits can indeed be photographed but I've actually seen very few pictures that are "paranormal". If I, in my views, regard the image that I see to be not paranormal but an alternative natural explanation, we must keep this in our mind that not all spooky things captured by our cameras our ghosts . I don't believe that anyone is truly an expert in deciphering the difference between ghost and non-ghost photographs but since I've been serving as a psychic and medium since when I was only a little boy a I feel I am somewhat qualified to make a judgment on most photographs that I saw. If you saw and think that you captured a paranormal entity you must be aware in what type of camera and film you used, weather conditions, why the photograph was taken in the first place and any other relevant information. Without this an accurate analysis you cannot claimed that you captured a ghost or an elemental.

You made some very interesting points. When I was doing a bit of ghost hunting I tried to be as aware of the weather as possible. Was it smoggy outside? Was the grass wet? Had it rained recently, etc.. Also, how do you feel about digital cameras?

Yes, I have heard about the haunted Toys 'R Us store. In fact, I did do an article on that a while back on my True Ghost Stories site.
