Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada (AHN) -- Flight attendants on a Jazz Air plane removed a passenger because he had what other passengers described as a "brutal" body odor, according to reports.
As the Canadian airline prepared to take off from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, passengers began talking among themselves about the odor coming from a passenger, reports stated.
Airline employees asked the man to step off the airplane because his body smell was a nuisance to other passengers and proved to be intolerable, Jazz Air spokeswoman Manon Stuart reported.
Stuart said the staff handled the situation correctly, saying the safety and comfort of the passengers is the main concern of the airline, according to reports.
The identity of the passenger was not released.
