Modestly hot chicks, master-of-disguise, liberal saw-traps... This sounded really, really good before I watched it, despite many people spouting that it was "the worst horror movie ever"... After I saw the thing in it's entirety, I found it was "amusing" at best. >.<
The film is a sort of "Valentine"-style stalker-slasher wherein the "creepy kid" comes back to stalk the chicks he dug after they helped put him away for being creepy (In this case, apparently tearing a rat open alive and showing the squirming body to them). It's put together rather creatively, and the stalker here has a cool MO... But honestly it falls into utter cliche and utterly improbable situations, and due to this possesses no real scares. It's a shame because the dialogue/characters were pretty damn good, and the setpieces were brilliant.
If I had it my way, more stuff like this would come out, and it would be better-done too... If anyone else has seen it, what did you think?

âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ
