Hey everyone, this is basically a life-check of the forum. I've seen it on another site and thought it'd be appropriate here to see if we need to try more desperate measures to drum up activity again. So, if you're still posting, please let it be known!
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

I did, and I do thank you!

Still here Briggs. I don't quit on forums unless the board is absolutely dead or taken down. What can we do to make this board seem more popular?

I'm thinking we could have some kind of horror-themed catch..
something everybody (as in not a bot) would be able to respond to before starting one of those topics...
maybe like "enter your favorite weapon used by Jason" or "How many Halloween movies have you seen?' etc? if it gives a *correct* answer then the forum is posted.
Failure to reply - or inability to do so means :eg: well...
then it isn't!

I was thinking more along the lines of pimping this board out to the public.

I'd like to thank Freddy and mrblue as well!
As for popularity, I dunno. Carolinepar's idea sounds somewhat good to me, but posting a topic for it instead of just making a question; mainly for the reason that it would encourage more discussion right off the bat for new members.
The "pimp this board" option is a good, basic one which most boards do, but there are a few problems with that that I know of; first of all there's not much we have to recommend our forum above any others yet, and with that in mind we might invite trolls that way :/...

Stupid trolls, we should build an electric fence to keep them out.
