mrblueoscars horror tribute
#1
What a piece of shit that was. They start it off with jaws seriously? They fucking had TCM 4 and and drak water in it. Never saw one clip from the original tcm or friday the 13th. Not one single phantasm clip but hey they have twilight and paranormal activity when the fuck did those become horror movies. The oscars can go suck it for all I care. They disrespect the horror genre so much.assholes.worst fucking tribute I've ever seen they couldn't even get the halloween score right. Un fucking believable.

I missed the Oscars, but from the sounds of it i didnt miss much then. I probably would have been just as pissed about the horror tribute as the rest. I can tell from what im reading it sucked. Maybe they should have gotten someone that was a REAL hardcore horror fan to put together a tribute reel. From the sounds of it they didnt include any classics or classic scores. And they should have gotten better presenters. But this age is all about the current generation it seems any more. No true appreciation or passion for the horror genre by people like that. They dont know what horror is, or what it is to truly love it. So thats my little rant! lol

I saw an original TCM and F13 clip or two. Hell, it even included the classic Universal horror monsters. However, what I don't like about the montage is that it included non-horror movies like Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice. Those shouldn't have been in there. The tribute wasn't THAT bad... but it wasn't that good either. I'd watch it again.

No, the worst thing about that was Lautner and Stewart presenting the montage. Twilight is NOT a horror movie at all. Yet they used it and alluded to it. BULLSHIT!!!!

Yeah, It wasn't that bad. I liked the horror scores that played with it (Tubular Bells still gives me chills), but really, they couldn't find any REAL genre people who could have intro'd that. Cussing

i loved the tribute. about time horror got some appreciation.

only thing i hated was that the Twilight kids did it. but today's generation thinks Twilight is horror and Justin Bieber is music. smh.

I was yelling at the t.v. with some of the clips that were shown because they weren't horror.
Out running a killer is like out running a bear, you don't have to run just have a friend that is slower than you!

Those Twilight fucks probably never even seen Jaws. They probably think that it's a movie about dentists.

Maxx: I would be right there with you on some of those clips. C'mon, Edward Scissorhand? Good movie, but not horror.

That was my favorite part of the tribute. How they fit all the famous scores into one montage. Although, I kinda wanted to hear some Shining.

I don't watch the Oscars. My gay co author refers to it as 'The Gay Superbowl' and he gets all excited about it, but I think most of these award shows are load of fluff and a popularity contest.

When I heard Neil Patrick Harris didn't sing ANY Dr Horrible tunes, I was glad I didn't bother.
