Needing Information

Hello Everyone,
My Name is Trina, and I am doing some research for a school essay on "why we crave Horror Movies". Personally I can enjoy a good horror film, for I do like the supense, and thrills that watching brings. However, I am wondering if anyone would be willing to share with me why they enjoy watching, and what makes you want to go see a horror movie. Also, I would like to know what type of satisifaction that you get from watching horror films ? I do welcome and will appreciate all feed back. And please do not hesitate to elaborate on your feeling, for that is exactly what I am looking for.

If the plot or trailer look interesting enough for me, then i'll go see it. I dont look for anthing important or specific because I just want to enjoy it for what it is.

I can't fully explain what draws me to a horror film

there is the "what happens now" that occasionally grabs my attention like a burr to velcro, other times it a favorite icon, location or director (examples, in turn - Jason, New Orleans or Tim Burton)

Still I've heard there is something released in the brain similar to the enjoying of chocolate while watching of horror films
