R.I.P Ed McMahon! Died June 23, 2009 (age 86)
Although I never really heard of him I will still say this - Let God Rest Your Soul!

Oh, and Jersey Devil, I completely agree with you about the military hero thing. I come from a family of vets, most of who were in Vietnam, and a couple the Persian Gulf and Afganistan. I truly do have great respect for any veteran. My pops especially.

When Nicholson takes the axe to the door and then sticks his dead through and says, "Heeeres Johnny!", that was made famous by Ed when he would introduce Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show. He also is known for his famous "Heeeeeyyyoooooo" phrase which still gets used by a ton of people.
