So apparently IFC is releasing a borderline torture porn flick called the Human Centipede (Full Sequence). Gonna go ahead and say that I'm SUPER stoked about this film. Written and directed by a guy named Tom Six, whom I've never heard of and is also writer and director of the films "I Love Dries," "Honeyz," and "Gay," all of which I've also never heard of. Is this a reason to disregard this flick? I...Think...Not. First of all, check out this KILLER one sheet for the film:




What follows is the synopsis as per Bloody Disgusting:

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE is an unconventional – and medically accurate -- biological horror film that enthusiastically explores territory that few filmmakers dare to tread. When two pretty American girls go on a road trip in Europe, they end up alone at night in Germany with a broken car in the woods. They search for help and find an isolated villa, and awake the next day to find themselves trapped in a terrifying makeshift basement hospital. Their captor is the internationally respected Siamese twin surgeon Dr. Josef Heiter with a demented vision for mankind's future existence. Dr. Heiter wants to remove human beings' kneecaps so they have to exist on all fours and then surgically graft them mouth-to-anus to form a centipede chain. But when his victims give him more trouble than he expects – including unwanted attention from the authorities - Dr. Heiter is forced to decide whether to abandon his latest project, or protect it from the outside world – with their and his very lives, if necessary.

Hardcore enough for ya? Not entirely sure, Daylight...The "sketches" they show illustrate how the folks are connected, and just from those it really doesn't seem too far fetched...I'm pretty excited about this!I haven't been creeped out much by medical type horror since..........the Dentist?

This movie looks really good actually and from what I read... it sounds like a very messed up movie. The trailer makes the movie look so brutal and Justin, you nailed it with comparing it to The Dentist because that's exactly what I thought.

Release date as of right now is April 30...I'm really not even sure if it's going to be a theatrical release...I hope so!

I don't know... I think this one has potential. Potential for being fucked up!!

They've added the first "extra long" clip on Bloody-Disgusting...No real action, but there's a bit of buildup and creep factor already. Check out that bad ass painting on the wall!

I don't think this will ever get a theatrical release just because of how graphic it is. There are scene where people are eating other people's shit. If it does get a theater run it would only be in certain theaters.

Yeah, watched the trailer and it looks interesting. I believe they were connected via gastric from the ass to the mouth lol, dead serious, not joking. Is it possible? Sure, why not? We can do many things today that people 100 years ago would never deem possible, so I don't see why not. Either way, looks like a fun, and unique film, so I'll be checking it out in the coming weeks via screener.

I've heard its only gonna be a limited release so I'm hoping itl come to dvd soon so I can get myself a copy and see If its any good. I've also its suppose to be turned into a trilogy and the sequals are suppose to be way more disturbing and grusome then the original and have a longer centipede made of humans.

It is on on Comcast OnDemand right now! Have not had the time to order it yet though. Anyone seen it yet?

I read up on this movie and the writers and directors actually had a medical doctor as a sort of consultant and he said that if attached in a certain way... a human centipede is possible. Most of the doctors didn't want to be associated with the movie and the consultant they had wanted to remain anonymous.

but if your head is conncected to someone's ass, how can you breathe? i'm no doctor so if they say it's possible i'm not gonna argue. freaky!

Talk about your limited release! We got it here in Dallas for two days, two showings, one theater. That's it!
