The rumors are tormenting me like the Joker does Bats....
We all heard Johnny Depp as "Riddler" (too typical seeing as Depp is the go to actor for everything these days!) I say David Tennant (Dr. Who) or Anthony Michael Hall? Anyone but Depp!
Penguin- They say Phillip Seymore Hoffman, I say Dont have the charecter at all...lol Maybe Jack Black could pull it off? Big Maybe!
Catwoman- Kate bekinsale or IDK? that one is open cuz if Halle Barry can portrey her in a god awful flick then whatever! ? But that charecter idea is good cuz Bruce lost rachael in the last movie...makes sense to have a bad/love interest in the next flik...
Joker- DONT HAVE IN THE NEXT FLICK!! Ref. yes...dont replace Ledger, for god sakes! Dont try it!! "Harley Quinn", could work, esp. with catwoman angle working...also focus the basis on Arkham Asylum in the 3rd would be dark and awsome! can maybe throw "Zsasz" Charecter in the mixx then??

Keep hearing "Mad Hatter" Suggested, Maybe? but still kinda campy for this series, as Nolan is going for a realistic Gotham City angle....

If they went with the penguin or catwoman this movie would be an epic fail and would be a bitch slap to the fans who liked Nolans new version. I'm pretty sure there going with the riddler and there's no casting news yet. Its slated for a summer 2012 release.
Im sure Riddler is a go...which makes sense...I hope Arkham is a key premisis, seeing as how Joker probly went there in DK. I just think Catwoman as a theif that batman/Bruce is trying to make go straight would be ok cuz Rachel is dead and Ol' Bruce cant keep it in his pants so...? yea, Penguin would be lame I feel...with the realistic approach Nolan is taking....
When they made a catwoman movie it failed so I don't see why Nolan would go with catwoman considering this is gonna be the last movie. And I'm interested into seeing how there gonna explain what happend to the joker.
umm wtf about Jack Nicholson? he played a better Joker then dead Ledger.

Riddler... I don't feel it. Joker filled the "mind game" story, Riddler would be a bit redundant. Catwoman would actually make for a more emotional story and Penguin would work well for and "all out war on Batman" story (since, if I recall correctly, Penguin's got a lot of resources). I also support the idea that Bane comes into play to do the "Knightfall" thing.
Heath ledger played a way darker joker then jack and that's what made the film good. I don't see the movie working if they used catwoman or penguin. If they use Bane he should break batmans back to end the trilogy.
Riddler was always like Joker in some ways. Although if they do it a whole new direction it would be nice. Mad Hatter would be very cool to see since the guy is a very dark and creepy person. I remember Nolan saying that he never liked Penguin but I support the idea.
I can see the scarecrow making an appearence since he was in first one and tdk. And he could also play a role into turning someone into the main villan.
@ Mr. Blue- Explain what happened to Joker? He was captured....into Arkham with him just like most Batman tales...lol I wouldent show him or try to get someone else to play him...they can mention him as being locked up in arkham...Sorry just dont get why people keep saying whats gonna happen to Joker? Just cuz Ledger Died...lol
I like how they had scarecrow in a cameo...thats why I like an Arkham Asylum angel...ref. or Cameos galore could be used. Rather than Penguin-why not Croc?! Mad Hatter could work as well...Let Joker rest tho...no Jack-No Ledger...just let it go and move on...lol

Johnny Depp would be too cliche; Gordon Levitt looks like he'd actually be a good Riddler though!
I read on multiple sites today that Michael Caine reported that filming starts next April not March.
I would not mind seeing The Penguin. I think Nolan could make him darker but I'll still always respect Danny DeVito. Who can forget the black spit. The only problem is that in the comic book adaptation world, the third sequel always ends up being the bomb of the three.

But There was talk that at Comicon San Diego they were sposed to reveal the villians and all that and I think Blue is right bout the date....Right now Transformers 3 being filmed in Chicago so I'm sure they will wait a lil bit before they start filming Batman there. I'd bet $ Riddler is a go...and Catwoman would not suprise me.

I have high hopes too; Nolan's a damn solid director, I don't think he's absolutely due for a bomb.
