Okay...
at one horror film opening the guests got barf bags...
at another a registered nurse was on duty -
and still another they "sold" insurance policies...
can anyone think what would be an *effective* give-away or promotion for a horror film that has already been released -- or one yet to be -- that outside of word-of-mouth would make you *die* to want to see???

Have a lifeguard on duty at a Friday the 13th showing and hand out councilor whistles with a blood splatter mark on them.
Not exactly horror, and at that more of a gimmick than a straight-up giveaway, but having audience members fill out an innocent looking survey before watching The Game. Then, having the people who passed out the surveys take notes on viewers watching the film
