As I look back on it, it was funny⦠but what happened a few years from then was funnier.
And what was that Freddy? I must say though, that was pretty harsh and I hope that bitch is dead by now.
Seriously, man. That's some weak shit. You should eventually try to get back out there though.
FreddysFingers Wrote:The first "date" I ever had was in middle school and the girl was somebody that I really liked. We went out, we went to the movies and we went to dinner. Then, when school let out I ran up to her and asked her if she wanted to see Lilo & Stitch with me, and that's when she told me the most hurtful thing anybody has ever said to me⦠she dated me because she lost a bet with her friends and the punishment for loosing the bet was to date the ugliest kid in school. I cried.
I've never been on a date since. I don't plan on having one any time soon.
*gasps* :backhug:

Just one more reason why a TH get together would be Ridiculous!

You're not far off. After that experience I wanted her dead and I wanted to get her back. Than, about a few months ago I found out that she died from severe brain cancer and that all through high school she wore a wig from the kemo. How amazingly ironic.
I might go back into the dating world soon but as for now⦠I'm content at being single.
It's strange you know as i don't think i went on a Date after i got to around 16. It was kind of Meet a girl out in the pubs or clubs and i suppose the rest was history as they say. I think ive only actually been on about 2 dates in my whole life...... I suppose that most would have called me a Male Slut back in those days ........ ![[Image: sexes016.gif]](http://www.bestemoticon.com/smiley/sexe/sexes016.gif)
I don't really have much experience of 'dating' at all. All the men who ask me out are arrogant, pushy types anyway. No thanks.
And Freddy thats a horrible story. Just put it in the past.
Damn Freddy, that is seriously fucked up.
ok dating advice...
or my thoughts on dating -
which do you want me to start with?
Considering I want to be you when I grow up, Caro... hit us with all of it, love. LOL
ok - guess one way to start is at the beginning...
during the date I'll ask these questions -
"if you had to bring three movies to an all night movie fest - not knowing who was going to be there or what the theme was - what would your choices be?" "what movie soundtracks do you own or listen to?" "what pets did/do you own?"
to be continued...
Wtf...20 questions and a quiz? Yeah, that would be my no fly zone.:pirate:
If I talk to a girl nonstop about movies and soundtrack, I would fall head over heels for her. That's very melodramatic… I know.
Well the girl I just went out with on an unprepared date with tonight told me her favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption, which is of course mine as well. When she said that, I seriously came in my pants.

If she said Jurassic Park and Pulp Fiction, I too would blow one off in my pants. If I took her home with me and we watched the two, back to back, I would be in pure ecstasy.
I call challenge! All of my favorite movies are man films, and my brother thinks it's exactly that type of thing that's my problem. He and I were watching Aliens a couple of weeks ago... drinking, laughing it up, having a great time, when suddenly he turns to me and says, "That's it! That's your problem! You're so chill to hang with, you're like hangin' with a dude!"
While nice to know that my big brother enjoyed my company, I was thuroughly insulted. :reddisgust:
One of you makes a crack about me looking like a dude, and I'll pop you one in the face...

What's the down side to being able to hang with the boys? And assuming your profile pic is accurate, you look nothing like a dude. I'd say, you look pretty damned hot.
If you're hot and you're described as being like one of the dudes, that's a pretty big compliment in my book. You generally want someone who's easy to talk to and has the same interests as you and is, of course, attractive. You seem to be all of these things, Blue. I wouldn't sweat it. Your brother is just being a dick.
Thanks for the compliment, Captain.
It was just an odd moment for me because it was definitely not the first time I'd been placed into the category of "one of the guys," and I've even had a man tell me, "I worry that we have too much in common. I'm
too comfortable around you." Like I was an old lazyboy chair or some shit... LOL Dweeb.
I do know that I must soon face the terrors of the dating world again sometime soon (being one of those crazy people who hope to have kids at some point, and would prefer to do it the good old fashioned way), so I'm perfectly willing to take any
reasonable advice you guys have to offer.
As for my brother being a dick... Well, he
is my older brother. It comes with the job description.
