Just saw it last night, too, and couldn't agree more. I actually had a lot of fun watching it. Last Stand broke my heart so I was really happy to see this one done well. Although, I'm not sure what the fuck they did with Moira MacTaggert... but that's probably getting nit-picky at this point.

That's one of MY nitpicks. Moira McTaggert's Scottish, not American. Aside from that though, it was an awesome movie. Kevin Bacon almost stole the show as the villain. But the best one, I have to say is Michael Fassbender as Magneto.
Couldn't agree more. I'd not seen him in anything since 300 (drool), and while I... enjoyed... his role immensely, got no real sense of his acting skill from the film. He was AWESOME. I was most impressed.
But, yeah... poor Moira. How did she go from a Scottish geneticist to an American CIA agent? The mind boggles.
The Matrix: 9.5/10. Awesome film, this one.
Shawshank Redemption...great movie

Fight Club 10/10-One of my all time favorite films.
Red Hill: 9.5/10. Awesome Australian western.
Red Hill. Awesome little Australian thriller.
Real Genius- One of my all time faves!

It's the most quoted movie in our household.

80's comedies are definitely the best for that. Our family does a lot of Ghostbusters, Three Amigos, and Airplane! Oh, and The Princess Bride, of course.
Rope. James Stewart is a legend, brilliant film.
