LOL

Yeah, my brother and I had fun with it. One of the reviews I read on it called it a, "joyless bore." It is now our favorite new phrase. The baby giggling: "He is SUCH a joyless bore." The fireworks show: "An utterly joyless bore!" Like that. We're assholes.

I particularly liked all of the scenes on Oa (I'm a SciFi geek at heart). They were neither joyless, nor boring. Wink
Haha. Assholes are some of the best people to have conversations with though because they're generally pretty hysterical. Actual assholes on the other hand, not so much.

Oh yeah. I loved Oa. I thought Sinestro was rushed into the yellow ring way too fast and thought the film lacked using more of Tomar-Re and Kiliwog. Peter Sarsgaard was fucking fantastic though.

I'm trying to work my way through all the Harry Potter's before The Deathly Hallows Part 2 screening next Monday. I just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).
Yay for assholes! hehehehehe...

I took the kind of pleasure a 10 year old would from using that phrase. LOL

I also would have enjoyed seeing more of Kilowog and Tomar-Re—I love the actors they chose for their voices—especially since I was not very impressed with some of the other supporting characters (Tom was not as well written as he could have been). Not only was Sinestro's taking of the yellow ring rushed, but also made NONE sense considering the sequence of events leading up to it. At least, it didn't make any sense to me. But, again, I was stoked with Mark Strong as a choice for the role. Sarsgaard did an awesome job with what he was given, but again, I feel some of the writing for him was a little lacking. And the casting seemed a bit off with Tim Robins as his dad—gray hair or no, the guy doesn't "look" old enough to be Sarsgaard's dad, considering the way they made him look. LOL

The Return of the King. Extended version. On blu-ray. Woot!
Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

The ending undoes everything. I really feel cheated.
Mark Strong IS Sinestro. He looks the part and fits it extremely well. But it was just kind of like, "Oh we just beat Parallax and everything is going super awesome for the Green Lantern Corps. Let's see what happens when I put on this yellow ring from earlier. Sayyyyyyyyy, fuck green. Yellow is definitely my color."

Zookeeper (2011)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)

Lmao! EXACTLY! That is how arbitrary they made that decision seem. "I heard yellow is the new black. I've got to get some more yellow into my wardrobe!" Silly bastards.
Inception... which I think was just as badass this second time around.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Das Boot Cheers2
The princess and the Frog.

Such a good movie.
It wasn't too bad for a Disney cartoon. Smile

I'm a sucker for hand drawn animation.

I want you to look again at the statement you just wrote. I feel like I just watched your soul lose all hope, shrivel up, and die.
LMAO, I only meant that I'm not a huge cartoon nut. Never have been. Even as a kid I would have rather watched something else, almost anything else. So Disney cartoons rarely appeal to me. This is the first I've watched since The Lion King that I enjoyed. Love Raymond. Poor guy and his chipped favorite tooth. lol. No disrespect meant for Disney sis! Honest! Don't hurt me!

And I watched Burlesque last night. Helloooooo Cam Gigandet. :licking:
