I think Jason is a zombie mainly in the facet that he's known to have died. If he had survived I think he'd qualify more as Michael Myers type "boogeyman". He'd still be human despite supernatural strength and endurance, and is continually purpose-driven; neither mindless nor reasonable.

well that's very confusing...because zombies are known for eating the human fleah but in the case of Jason, he rose from the dead to kill and not to eat...but I see your point
