Ah this film is a prime example of a comedy-themed horror movie. Haven't watched it in a few years but it made me laugh more than once and that's hard for a horror movie to do that to me. I also love how it's not classified as parody, when you can see that Pegg, Frost and Wright are clearly poking fun at their idol Romero.

I'm probably going to get shot for this from all sides. I like this quite a bit but I really wanted to love it. It just didn't make me laugh as hard as I expected it to all the way through. I'm really not sure why as I've enjoyed some of their other stuff. Maybe I need to give it another go. Definitely need to see Attack the Block though. That does look up my street.

I just saw this about six months ago. It's ridiculous, so of course I need to watch it again. I have an affinity for the realm of the absurd. My long standing habit of quoting Spaceballs and Monty Python are clear evidence of my ludicrous (speed) fetish.

See... now... I laughed my ass off the whole time. Granted, I was stoned. But, hey... It did seem from the trailer to be pretty perfect for a good old fashioned "blaze and gaze," so I feel completely justified in my decision.

It is an exercise in being ridiculous but I think it's one of those rare movies that uses well-though of humor to douse the gore.

Exactly. Which is why it was worth another watch. Smile

I can't vouch for DB's preferred method but for purely scientific reasons, maybe I should test the theory.
