Okay, I'll be the voice of dissension. I kinda liked it. But, you had to take it in the spirit that it was offered. M. Night came out before it was released and said "There is no twist at the end." He also said that it was supposed to be a B-Movie. Mark Wallburg does not play the straight man very well. I kept waiting on him to break out into some Boston slang. And, we spent most of the movie trying to figure out where we had seen Alma before. (Still haven't figured that one out. Maybe it's because her sister is Bones.)
That all being said, I kinda like cheesy movies and this one qualifies.

Zooey Dechannel (don't know if I'm spelling it right) but you honestly don't know where you have seen her? Was that what I was getting from that post? She was in the new guy, tin man, yes man, 500 days of summer, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, elf, and eulogy, among other movies but thats all I can think of atm... Oh and The Happening started out like I liked watching and wondering what was going to happen, then nothing happened after the beginning of the movie. Which sucked. So waiting and waiting and waiting for the happening to happen and it just didn't. It took me about 3 times to actually get through the entire movie. Bad... just bad.

Same here. It was like everyone in that movie just couldn't act.

I thought the idea of this movie was original and pretty tense but the execution was bad. I actually sort of liked this movie and seeing people all just suddenly jump off a building was pretty terrifying.

Funny because he normally makes really good and really tense horror thrillers. I don't know what happened.

It seems that he makes one good one than a bad one. The Happening wasn't good but it wasn't bad ether now M. Night Shyamalan's Devil I feel is a good Movie.

Devil was a good movie but it wasn't given proper treatment. It had so much potential but it fell to the alter of cheap scares. I thing if M. Night directed it, it could have been almost Hitchcockian again. I love his early work up until Lady in the Water. That's when things began to spiral downhill.

The Happening would have been good if enough happened. Plus they killed off the best actor way too early.
