Personally for me, the things that are gone but will always have a place in my heart are the following:

VHS tapes
Zip discs
VHS players
News shows that had awesome music
Polaroid instant camera/film
Hollywood Video
Arcade centers in the mall
Sega Genesis & 4 specific games
Good commercials and not random shit
Practical effects
Low cost movie tickets

And most of all, the age of innocents.
