I think he was high and he went to his producer, high, and said "wouldn't it be great if we had Sheri Moon.... in Halloween 2.... on a fucking horse..... a white horse and shes talking to Michael about random shit...... and she tells him to complete the family *LAUGHS UNCONTROLLABLY* wouldn't that shit be just awesome?!"
Producer: "Rob, what are you taking?"

If it meant fucking up his entire movie, he would include Sherri Moon Zombie no matter what.

the problem is EVERYONE is comparing this one to the original halloweens. Zombie even said himself this movie is his OWN version and take on the aftermath of halloween. So dont complain abt what he did with loomis and laurie. ill admit having the ghost and the white horse thing was jumping the shark. But Laurie being a mess and loomis being an asshole is what Zombie had in mind for them. If he wanted to make remake of the 2nd one he would have but no he didnt so get over it ppl.

I agree it is his vision...
But his vision sucks huge giant over bearing ball sacks.
I mean come on...
Just because it was his vision doesn't make it alright that he messed up
the fucking movie for all of us Michael fans!
I mean look at the TCM or F13th Remake compared to this giant piece of shit
that came directly out of Rob's asshole...

I'm not comparing Halloween 2 to the original. There simply is no comparison there, in my opinion. If I did that, I would hate Halloween 2 even more than I did. However, you're telling people not to compare Rob Zombie's to the original, yet you're comparing it to a sequel that hasn't even happened yet. You're saying that H3 is going to be worse than H2, yet it doesn't even exist, nor does it look like it's going to exist. That's right, Rob Zombie fucked up so bad on the first two, it doesn't look like there's going to be a third. People went into the audience the first time expecting something good, and they didn't get it. However, the first one did make some cash. So, they decided to make H2 and what did it do? It flopped. I think Hollywood needs to start listening to people, rather than looking at the figures.
If you liked Rob Zombie's version, I'm not knocking you for that; at all. I'm glad that you had an enjoyable experience while watching a horror movie. I just wish my trip to the theaters to watch it would have been that enjoyable.

Rob Zombie is a fag
Now, remember: you don't aim a gun at a man unless you intend to shoot him. And, you don't shoot a man unless you intend to kill him. No warning shots. Hey, you listening to me? No warning shots. Warning shots are bullshit. You shoot to kill, or you don't shoot at all.

I actually enjoyed Zombie's Remake of Halloween. I liked his interpretation and the insight to Michael. I know a lot of people hated that, saying "the Boogeyman just IS - you don't need a reason" but I like back stories.
I have NOT seen this one yet, and I hear the same mixed reactions. I have, however, heard that if you buy the Directors Cut of the DVD, the ending is totally different (it's not a menu option to select the ending - it's just different) and most that liked the movie, say it totally ruined WHY they liked it. I can't comment on why, not seeing either one, but just a heads up to anyone renting or buying it.

Well, I was all for Zombie taking the Halloween series and making them into something completely different. The first one was tolerable and it was bad, but not THAT bad. The second one, whether you agree or not, took two lovable characters and turned them into hated and idiotic characters. People who love the franchise are not ready to see characters that they have grown to love, be shown as douchebags or imbecile teens.

I had watched this Halloween 2 and I have to say that it is the worst remake ever of the Halloween series! Just total, annoying and boring rubbish, from start to finish. Many failings ruined this film, the most annoying of them all being the ridiculous psychedelic flashbacks of Michael Myers' mom and of himself as a youngster. I mean what was point of view these unpleasant images? At times, the line between reality and all this ridiculous retrospection was so blurred that I often found it very hard to differentiate between what was actually happening and what wasn't.

I think both Rob Zombie, the writers and the producers had too many ideas and were just really unorganized.

yes it can be...
Zombie described the sequel as being very realistic and very violent. Yes...it has violence and gore but the film was also confusing. The writer, director, and production staffs have said that they are trying to create almost the exact opposite of what people will expect and I think they don't get what they aim...

I am sure if they took their time with it, it could have been better... not that better but a little...
