not that anyone needs *my* crap but have to vent somewhere...
earlier I complained that my guy said he didn't know if given enough notice he'd be able to get off in time on Halloween night
now is saying it will be at least 8pm before he can even leave work!
So unless I can carepool with someone from the party (hope, hope) and find a babysitter in time (on Halloween night?!) I'm gonna be the "good girl and wait" until he gets home - which he'll most likely be too tired to go out again, having worked a full shift! ;(

Sounds like he just doesnt want to go-kick him to the curb-my man wants to bitch because I (and I swear this is true) I spray cooking skillets with PAM to keep food from sticking --he thinks if I stood and stared at it, that would keep it from sticking-also he eats like a spoiled 4 year old and he's a year older than me:club:

Hurting yourself to show her you feel pain and sympathy does not register to girls. Your gonna have to suck this one up & continue to comfort her till she gets it and allows you too. She's been through a trauma & just wants to know you care & will be there for her. Give her a huggy. I hope she talks to a professional about it, I'm sorry she went through that Briggs. you're a good guy for trying to understand & help.

It was a heat of the moment type of thing. Wasn't thinking logically, got overwhelmed. I try when I can to comfort her, but I'm only human, it happens a lot, and last night was worse than most times. She does get professional help, and it has helped her to some extent, but not to a "full extent." Mainly typed it here because I needed to let my feelings on the matter out.

Hope my post didn't sound like a beat up. No ones perfect & you were trying to comfort her. When the person we love is hurting, its natural to want to take that pain away. But sometimes we can't & we have to allow them to just grieve. That's her way. Hang in there bro. *hugs*
