The Amityville Horror (1979)

I've seen most of this on TV and it truly wasn't that good; better than some (In fact a lot of) "true haunting" films but still not that scary save for a few parts (Scattered imagery of the house itself, along with the final rampage of the father).
Despite this it was followed by like, 7 sequels (Most of which had nothing to do with the "true events"). The first prequel had it's moments but contained several inaccuracies (A walkman back in the day?), and the others I have yet to see. Amityville Dollhouse is supposed to be "the bottom of the barrel," and The Amityville Curse has yet to even make it to DVD XP
