Personally I think horror trumps horror-comedy in most any occasion, but AS horror-comedy I think Bride and Seed jump right in without pretense and kick some serious ass.
IMO part 3 was the weakest as it was kind of teetering the line between horror and comedy, not truly excelling in one or the other; still far from a bad movie though.
