LOL! Last year on the 4th, I was at my Cousin's House, and his Wife is like totally one of those people who is like "Obey the law" and it's funny as fuck because my Cousin and I, were the ones who got the cops called on us one Halloween because he brought over his Guitar and an amp, and I hooked up my Bass and amp, and we started playing basically a show in my bedroom when I lived with my Mom, and like, he was playing "Sweet Home Alabama" on an Electric guitar with full distortion, and I'm playing this really fast Bass Line with it and free styling lyrics to it.
I had my Window in my bedroom there open, and you could see inside my room, and the people down the street were sitting on their porch watching us and listening because we also did what we do every Halloween that we can; Play Misfits stuff, and record some of it.
Well, a neighbor called the fucking cops because of my "lyrics" I made up, and so the end of the recording I made is like this:
My Cousin Matt - "Cops are getting called on us"
Me - "Oh SHIT dude the cops!!!!"
Matt - "Fuck!"
Me - "Dude, unplug the amps and grab that ...." End of recording.... I basically said to grab a certain bottle we had in there and we hopped in his truck and went to fucking Wal Mart. I'm not sure why, but we walked in, and we saw they had this HUGE box of Candy for kids who were in costumes, and we walked in, saw the big box of candy, grabbed it, and walked back out and drove off.
I still have a bunch of recordings I made from like a few years ago. I don't have any professional Microphones or Mixing equipment, so I took a cheap ass PC Microphone, and used Windows Record (Which is why every song I ever recorded this way is either 60 seconds long, or has a pause at the 60 seconds mark because I learned that basically you could hit record again, and keep going, so I had to write music in a way that made it sound like it SHOULD have a pause there)...
The Music I make now, is a lot better. And I record in a way better way even though I'm still using Free Computer apps.
