Haven't seen this one but honestly Uninvited wasn't all that either. Very few actual horror moments (just the stepmom acting weird and ghosts showing up and shit), and since I had figured out the "main twist" rather early it kind of ruined the rest of the film as I kept trying to find out how the rest of the plot points connected to the "surprise"

I can understand the "dragged out" problem. Although I really want to see an "epic" horror film every once in a while, when time isn't filled up well it can really defeat the film's effectiveness as a whole. Was there anything else that really differentiated the American and Japanese(?) versions?
