Dedman13 Wrote:You mean I finally come back and this is the big discussion? For fucks sake, what is going on with our genre? It is one thing to remake an entire movie and put it in 3-D, but to take a film that is meant to be seen in 2-D and convert it? Is anyone really buying into this?Army of Darkness is a phony blu-ray? What bullshit... I still haven't gotten a Blu player; can you tell me if mockeries like those are common?
It is like buying Army of Darkness on Blu-Ray. Yeah it may look a little better, bet guess what? IT IS NOT A TRUE BLU-RAY MOVIE!!! Same for 3-D...
And come on; remakes are better than 3D conversion? Sure it's most likely little more than a cashgrab, but those who like the things the process does can buy it for their sake and those who don't can stick with the old versions (which, hell, might be included in new packages). 3D stuff ain't even as bad as colorization to me.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ
