I watched Waterworld the other day and I scratched my head over why people loathe this movie. It's a decent action flick that was overhyped. Obviously this person has a diverse taste in film. I can't believe she called King Kong (the remake) a bad movie. It really romanticized the relationship between Kong and the girl that when the original didn't have the money or time to do.

if anything I liked the remake because they were able to improve some angles....
besides has anyone heard of Jack Black doing Gulliver (sp?) Travels?
