The short answer: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
The long answer: It's WAY too soon to reboot the series. Maybe they should have just done the reboot right the first time. Jackie Earle Haley is a good actor but he was miscast as Freddy. And I'm sorry, Robert Englund is just getting too long in the tooth to still be playing Freddy. They need to find someone a bit more physically imposing. Not Jason-imposing but someone taller than Prince.
Still, for all that it got wrong, the reboot did one thing right: for a movie about a person who kills you in your dreams, it just about put me to sleep.
