Seeing Jason Voorhees running at someone and swinging a machete really quickly, then everything goes black and the title pops up. That was fucking bad ass, in my opinion. It let you know just what the fuck you were in for, and you were in for Friday The 13th.

Jason X was different and I actually digged it as well. It was nice to see Uber Jason, and also it had some great death scenes. However, do I think it was funny that Jason was in space? Yes. Is it very easy to make fun of? Yes. Lol

Loathed Jason X.

Your right Bo, it is easy to make fun of.
But yea I liked Jason X...
I mean he was awesome and had a lot of brute force when he became Uber Jason.
I don't know why so many people hate it...
Then again I can say I don't like Jason Goes To Hell.... lol

Don't get me wrong, I liked THAT; once Jason actually started doing his thing it was pretty damn good (Though he seemed a bit too "emotional" and "calculating" it was still an intensely creepy experience seeing him work) I just didn't like how they utterly cut down the flashback bits and threw all the "buzz-phrases" in there...
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

I know we all love the originals, don't get me wrong, but do me a favor...

Go back and watch Friday the 13th part 5

Then tell me with a straight face that it was better then the new one.

I dare you.
I totally agree w/ u!!! We're talking 1 horror classic here, special effects of 2day made it only better!!! I personally loved the acting as well!!!

I happen to adore Jason Takes Manhattan...for 3 reasons

1. Rooftop boxing scene. Priceless!

2. The chick that gets split in half while riding a guy. Amazing (his winky was still in her while she was dead...eew)

3. Jason got turned back to baby, re-re Jason by toxic waste in the New York sewer...So according to this film, the ecology of a new york sewer is so polluted that it can reverse zombieism and restore lost innocence.

That's what happens when 4 million people poo on the same small island, I guess...

I guess I am a remake purist, that's why I didn't like the remake.
