Lilith tell me something please.... How do you find room for them all??? I have got around 500 dvd's. I have one bookcase in my sitting room filled with the good stuff. Big over flow in my spare room.

Well i have a couple of home made book cases, one my girl made for me. And she made it to look like stone, like a tombstone sort of. And she fixed up the other one to look the same way. Both of those are over flowing with movies now. I have a weird black book case, that may have been home made by someone, it is also over flowing with movies. But it was made weird, and i cant put alot of movies on to the shelves. So i am getting rid of that and getting another book shelf, which should end up holding quite a bit. At least i am hoping so. I am running out of room, have been running out of room for a while now, but i have been able to make it work. I have a few metal racks i use as well to hold mainly my DVDs, but that only works for a short time and i had to put VHS' on those as well, which only can hold like 20 at a time. So that route isnt going to work. I will soon be revamping the whole set up as its getting out of hand, LOL. Its a decent sized living room, its not cluttered or anything like that, its just really looking messy presentation wise. Im hoping with this new huge bookshelf it will free up alot of space and i can use the racks for ALL the DVDs. So lets cross those fingers! LOL

Do you just collect DVDs? Or do you also have VHS?

I have a few VHS but now I just buy DVD. The copy of 'Neon Maniacs' you have. Is that VHS?

I do have Neon Maniacs actually! I havent seen it yet, have you? Is it good? And yes, i have it on VHS to! Smile

I have not got it. But I want a copy so bad! I saw it years ago. Full of 80's cheese and gore but I love all of that stuff!

I actually fixed my VHS player today. I dont have many VHS tapes... Few concerts I bought when I was a kid. Think I have copy of The Exorcist.

I have been told with as many movies as i have, i should start selling boots! As long as its never been released on DVD its considered public domain and thats the loop hole people are using to sell a lot of these old out of print horror movies. I have considered it. But i havent done it. But i have traded DVD-Rs. Wink

That is a very impressive collection-I have large collection too- I didn't see Squirm on your list or maybe I missed it-if you have check out Jeff Lieberman's commentary it's fascinating

Thanks...yes, i do have Squirm, it should be on the list. I know that list is a mess, lol. Its not alphabetized or in any type of order at all. Its just a list as i get them to add them on. lol I have recently gotten more, what a surprise, lol. Will try to get them added. I have a few pictures of some of my stuff in another thread on the forum. I finally got a new shelf and a couple of racks, which is helping. BTW Fang, i have not forgotten Neon Maniacs! That weekend i was going to copy it for you, i noticed i was having an equipment issue. I had to go out and buy another VCR. Plus Halloween was coming up and i was throwing a BAD ASS party. Complete with special lighting, decorations, setting up a cemetery in the backyard, all types of shit. Took us all month to get it done, little by little and we still forgot to get some stuff up. Plus i had a special halloween cake to make, get the bar set up and food. So its been hectic, plus we got to do Thanksgiving THIS Sunday, yes an early TG. So be patient with me Fang!

Ok, so it looks like i havent updated this list since last winter. Since then ive only collected about 119 movies, which for anyone that knows me thats a very LOW number compared to what i usually pull in. And since mom has gotten sick, i really havent had any time etc to hunt much hardly at all.

So with that being said, ive added the last 119 movies. Starting with number 1056. I know the lists are screwed up and need fixing, but havent had the time to straighten up so to speak.

Also its pretty official that i have now ran out of room....LOL

Oh do you collect as well? Awesome! Yes it is nice to run into other collectors. I guess you would say i am one of those crazed serious collectors out there. Been collecting for a LONG time. And i love to talk about the collecting horror business. I try to keep it out of the reviews, but sometimes i just cant. LOL

I need a "Liliths Collectors Corner" or something... Smile
