mrblueFreddy vs jason problem
#1
So i figured when freddy and jason battled either way Jason would have to win because he gets caught by the government in the year presumably 2010 and sent to space years later. how would all that be possible if freddy managed to win in fvj or in future fvj movies?

yeah the movies don't tie-in, that's the point, so Freddy could have cut off his head or something, and he would still be alive Jason X, movie companies like to fuck up franchises apparently.

its really sad how its been 7 years since fvj came out but yet both nightmare and F13th have both been remade and yet theres no sequal to fvj!

Even if there was a sequal an dif it had Ash in it liked they wanted to. Jason would still have to win so he could be alive on jason x unless jason and ash killed freddy then ash caught jason and gave him to the government which be a stupid plot idea

That's one thing I hate about remakes; they tend to cut off a good plotline X(

But still, Fred could have won with Jason still surviving...

but then how would they not refight? Freddy and jason are both the type of guys who dont jus give up. Somebody either got killed or sent back to hell. Freddy would jus keep invading jasons dreams and always have the upper avantage. they created many problems with jason x

or maybe they both won..like, jason thought he killed freddy but he didnt and when freddy went after jason again, jason was with the government so freddy decided to let them deal with him.

Freddy and Jason are both physical manifestations of evil. Neither of them will ever truly die. That's the beauty of both these franchises, and why a fight between these two will always be awesome!

What if they make a Nightmare on Elm street in space?

Honestly, I don't think the Freddy vs. Jason movie was supposed to really tie into the franchises. It was interesting how they linked the two together though.

Yeah, I always kind of felt this was supposed to exist outside of the franchises. I don't know much about them, but is that what the creators of Alien vs. Predator were doing, too? Or did that movie work within those franchises?

See, with that franchise... they created a comic book I think that linked the two together and back in the early 90s they decided to link the two franchises together. The original films have nothing to do with each other. I thought the idea for Alien vs. Predator was good, but I still didn't like the movies.

Maybe they are tired to have a refight...lol...well we all know that the first showdown ended with Jason Vorhees leaving the water with Freddy Krueger's head in his hands but that wink let and laugh as the credits rolled let everyone know it was far from over. But how would Freddy vs Jason 2 the rematch play out and with what storyline? The popular belief is that a sequel could end up becoming the two working as a team in the beginning and then ultimately ending up as another showdown. A speculation of a horror fan said that The company involved with Freddy vs Jason 2 the rematch did have a script and possible movie in the works but it was scrapped. I would imagine that the biggest reason was the newly released Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies that are coming out in 2009. If you're a fan waiting for the refight just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

God I hope that becomes a reality tbh; love to see some originals transcend the remakes!

You know i gotta say that i thought Freddy vs Jason was going to suck really bad. One thing it took many years for them to finally get a script together that could work with both characters. And secondly my thinking was, how they hell are they gonna pull this off and not ruin one icon or another. But you know, i was shocked, i actually enjoyed the film. I thought they did a very clever thing of how they introduced the 2 icons into each others realms. It actually worked and was a believeable concept. I was pleased with the outcome as far as story goes. The ending was clever i thought also, as it gave the feeling of both icons "winning" out! But i will say this...i dont think they should push their luck with making another Freddy vs Jason movie.
