This was the first I had heard of it... I think they should just leave well enough alone.. stop remaking everything and come up with new ideas!

Yeah, I heard this piece of crap back in October. And I quote me because my opinion hasn't changed since...

Quote:Bullet to the brainpan number two comes flying in on black wings, and while it’s not a remake, I would call it equally ill-advised. According to Mania.com, some genius over at Relativity has decided that there needs to be another “The Crow” movie. Director Stephen Norrington (“The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”) is set to helm the relaunch with new characters and a new storyline. But it won’t be gothic. Nope, they are going for a “realistic, hard-edged and mysterious, almost documentary-style.” Word is that the suits love it. Kinda like telling a Batman story with lots of bright colors, bad dialogue and nipples on the batsuit. Good luck with all that.

Bad idea. Period. Nobody can play The Crow like Brandon Lee. RIP.

I'd say go for it if I hadn't heard about the "documentary style" idea; simply for the reason that apparently the original wasn't all that faithful to the comic.

Maybe not, but it still was a great movie!!

Yet another movie that doesn't need to be remade, but in Hollywood, cult followings to a movie is an untapped cash cow, no matter if they're good or not.

Stop paying to see them and maybe we'll stop seeing this crap "re-envisioned and in 3D"

I agree, they sucked. I could go into a long rant on the importance of the film and the controversial events that happened and that it should be left as it is.. but I won't I simply have this to say..........DICKHEADS

"The Crow 2: City of Angels" was the first movie I almost walked out of. I stayed in because I just HAD to see how much worse it could get.

Oh, and well said, mezmo. Laughing-satan

Uh...yeah. Fuck this. It sounds exactly like any of the sequels to The Crow. Wicked Prayer was so bad and now Bradley Cooper is supposedly attached to this? Ugh.

Bradley Cooper? What the fuck? Why him? He isn't Crow material, he's too much of a pretty-boy. The Crow needs to have people who look like they have street smarts and brawn.

Mark Wahlberg was the name floating around before Bradley Cooper. So yeah, this is going to suck either way.

But I can see Mark Wahlberg before Cooper. At least he was in that shitfest Max Payne.

I am. I'll be the one throwing steamed goat bladders, gizzards and ropes of pig intestine at the director on the red carpet. For Cooper, I'll just scream out, "New York I Love You sucks!"

*Looks at Bradley Cooper*

...I mean, it's 99% likely it won't measure up, but they could have done worse http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005351/

It can't be any worse than some of the sequels. Wicked Prayer was pretty bad. They'd have to try pretty hard to be worse than that one alone.
