Only recently watched this and I must say, it was a phenomenal film. I'm still new to Asian horror (though I've loved the few I've seen thus far). This film was creepy, disturbing at times and just a lot of fun! My wife and I have had debates over it since we've seen it, and at the risk of serving up some spoilers, where in the movie do you think the actual "real-life" story line ends?
More than half of the movie is a romantic drama with some brutally disturbing scenes and the last act is fucked up beyond compare. Don't go in thinking that it's all that but I hope you enjoy it.

It's somewhat long and dramatic. The Japanese do this to build up character and mood so you'll have to forgive them this once.

Well, I'm definitely going to check it out either way. I'll be sure to post my opinion on it within the next couple days. That is, if I'm lucky enough to be able to sit down and watch it.
