It's a good film, I agree.
And whats wrong with Remakes any how?
I mean not all Remakes suck!
Look at Friday The 13th, It was FUCKING Awesome!
I agree Hollywood is running out of ideas but...
Remakes are actually for the best, sometimes.
I mean it helps revive the older films from the 80's and so on....
So judging on Remakes is a No No..
I mean Remakes can be awesome!

I LOVE Nightmare on Elm Street, and am pretty excited about a remake. I mean really, When was the last time we saw Freddy? Hell, I can't watch the same movie over and over and over forever, so a little "New Blood" could be cool, hehe. And Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy? That just might work! I mean, seems to me he would be a bit more serious than Robert Englund, but he's a creepy guy in his own rights. I am very interested now! Thanks for the news Bo!!!!!!!

Oops.. made a boo boo, clicked on Loki's post (edit) on accident.
ohwell any way here is my thoughts -
Your right...
I mean how boring would that be?
watching the same movie, over and over again...
Same deaths, same Freddy jokes...
It just gets old...
And that's why we need this new Remake!

I am torn on this one. The original is just as good today as it was when it first came out. But so is Halloween, and look what Rob Zombie was able to do. I loved Freddy VS Jason, so a chance to see a reemergence of Freddy excites me. I hope it goes darker, though. I think that is the only way to make it go!
