#1
Hey TalkHorror,

When you get a chance, check out my 80's style punk rock horror-comedy short film NIGHT OF THE PUNKS. It's heavily influenced by flicks like "Night of the Demons" & "Return of the Living Dead." Trailer is here: [ame="http://www.vimeo.com/13259603"]http://www.vimeo.com/13259603[/ame]

Usually skepitcal about horror-comedies nowadays, especially "nostalgic" ones, but that looks pretty genuine, and the makeup seems a true and welcome throwback to the good old days Wink . Probably wouldn't be able to go to LA anytime in the near future, but if I'm able to find it, I'll check it out
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

Thanks for checking it out and for the comments! Yeah, the poster is killer. My friend Austin did the artwork, he's really talented. I really do hope the short comes across as a geniune 80's throwback, that's what we're going for. Hopefully we'll have a bunch of festival screenings coming up in lots of different places for those of you who aren't around LA (it screens Sept 4th in Atlanta GA at Dragon*Con).
