I used to say Fright Night had some of the best makeup FX out there, now that I'm more familiar with more films perhaps not to that extreme, but they're still great... Wish people still used more practical effects V_V
I read somewhere they might remake fright night, I'm hoping they won't. It's one of those movies I remember seeing on tv all the time when I was young.
We watched From Within last night, one of the afterdark horrorfest movies, it's not bad, better than the ones from the previous year. I did like watching the girl with the scissors in her neck, that was nice. I just might rent the rest of them and see if they're any good.
is it me or are the best horror films which also reveal something about ourselves?

Well we watched Skeleton Crew last night, wrote a review on it too. It's not worth seeing, it pretty much sucked. It wasn't nearly as bad as Crazy Eights (last year's horrorfest), but it was pretty darn close. It's just too slow, nothing happens for so long it makes you wonder if you're actually watching a horror movie.

Last Horror Movie: One Eyed Monster with Ron Jeremy. Uhhhhh, funny as hell movie. Horribly acted and actually a little uncomfortable at parts. Still, a rabid penis as a monster. FUNNY AS HELL!

Slither. It was okay. The atmosphere was cool. We had a projector & watched it on the side of a friend's house. Very creepy with our back to thick woods. Looking forward to doing that again.
