I actually didn't get a headache and really didn't notice the glasses. But yes I can live without 3D aslo.
Just started Ghost Ship. (Netflix is the answer to impulse watching!) I didn't think I'd seen it, but I totally recognized the opening scene. Still don't remember what happens, though, so I think I'll keep going.
Jennifer's Body
28 Days Later
28 Days Later is a great little film...
I watched a very different Sci-Fi/Horror last night... Pandorum.
Have any of you seen this?

No, but I just added it to my queue last night, looks interesting. Is it good?

28 Days Later was well done, however, I'm not sure I like the ending they chose. There is 2 other alt endings.
The ending just seemed, unorganic. It didn't make much sense. They went the happy ending route.
I Sell the Dead
Very funny. Highly recommend to those who enjoy campy horror. Think Tales From the Crypt-ish/ Creepshow.
Takes place in England, about two guys who dig up the dead for a living. But they soon find out that there is more money in unearthing the undead
Good cast:
Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hellboy, Desperation...one of my favs

)
Dominic Monaghan (Lost, Lord of the Rings)
Angus Scrimm (Phantasm)

This is true... Looks like they ran out of time and money. But the film did breath some life into the Horror genre in 2002. More specifically the apocalyptic/Zombie kind.
Its success paved the way for the 'Dawn of the Dead' re-make, 'Land of the Dead', 'Shaun of the Dead'...... 'Zombie Strippers'

Really? Zombie Strippers? C'mon...worst. movie. ever. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on strippers, we all have to make a living, but this movie was Whorrible. Poor Jenna.
It wasn't money or time that they ran out of in 28 Days Later, the original concept that Alex Garland wrote didn't work.
They had originally wrote the story without the military camp. After Frank gets infected, they bind him up and search the deserted camp for the cure. They find one survivor who eventually tells them the cure is to get rid of all the infected blood. And that's where they stopped the story because they realized how far can you go with this concept? Do you drain all the capillaries too??? So they went the other route with the soldiers. Meh.

Yes I was joking with the 'Zombie Strippers' jibe

But I truly love 28 Days Later... It was made for a fraction of many, if not all of the Horrors to come out of the US around that time and in my opinion its one of the best film's of the 00's.
Great cast (Brendan Gleeson is one of Irelands finest actors) fantastic sound track and truly scary in parts...
I got my hair in a scrunchy and I'm watchin TCM 2
Bubba's got a girlfriend...
Fell asleep watching 'Land Of The Dead' last night... Its better than I originally thought.
Zombies man, They creep me out!
I enjoyed Rest Stop. What did you think of it DD?
Last night was The Hills Run Red :reddisgust:
The other night was Leatherface: TCM 3 (uncut) :bowow:
I just borrowed The Hills Run Red from a friend today and watched it. Wasn't as bad as you guys make it out to be.
I knew u would like that movie Blue. She was hot, huh?
The Haunting in CT
This movie hs me so pumped now for the Last Ex tomorrow!!! The Haunting was a decent flick, I enjoyed myself in the dark....with just candles....and now I have all the lights on. Much CG is used, but I didn't mind, it added to the movie. I thought I was seeing things, so I had to rewind parts. There was flashes of the dead through out the film, very subtle but freaking creepy. Good times, good times.
The blondie was hot at times, other times she wasn't haha, the girlfriend not so much.
House Of 1000 Corpses... That scene when Otis executes the deputy in the yard with the camera pulling back in slow motion is f**king amazing.
I watched The Last Exorcism yesterday. It was ok. I have mixed feelings about it.
Pandorum last night. Good flick.
