No, no one else is Freddy - Robert Englund is. I hope there isn't a part 2 remake, leave the franchise alone and come up with something original.

hahaha i liked it because this might seem wierd but the remake was a little more believable. i know how that sounds but id say the remake was more serious. like the batman series has done. the first lot of films were good and had comedy but now the series has got all serious if that makes any sense hahahahahahahahaha

I liked the remake, believe it or not. I'm actually looking forward to a sequel.

I haven't yet seen the remake. Almost nobody has recommended it to me and a few people here even warned me away from it Tongue. Serious is one thing, but melodramatic is another. The original 2 films were serious enough (3-6 were the comedy installments), but the remake almost seems like it takes itself too serious to be realistic, or surreally scary as the original.
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

Its not even that Briggs, its just bad movie period. Horrible acting from the kids, horrendous CGI and shitty homages, and the story is all over the place.

Well dont worry, because I'm pretty sure the movie isnt happening anytime soon. It cost WB too much money and the movie was beyond criticized.
